Javeria Khalid

sorry we r waiting her address email and other particulars how ever her poem is as .............

Nostalgic requiem

She said my wither is a turn

Dreary misgiving of fetal burns

My head my feet are a blur

Senile rage possesses her

Had I not December been

Leaf upon leaf the hearths consume

The stabbing erected consummate spleen

Anodyne shelter crept over a fence unseen

A dream in dream the lady weaves

Soft lullabies to her misty requiem

Colour of tear and a stellar cry

Streams in streams of stillness heaves

Her eyes her temple and the sheath

Pour out rains and colour grey, green

Sit in the motionless lap of God unseen

Slake esteem hunger desire and dream

A frail frame a timid soul

Virginal blue wings, crawl

Tremble at and run,

The sky within and beyond, eyes

That shut out the light of stars

Glare at the blare of a forceful sun.

Trembles more as she marches

December burns and October shines

Aphelion bends kissing April sublime

Knitting sighs with old December needles

Eclipses the sun and its summer shades

The skies turn and heavens frown

Showering feathers on a limpid June

The turn and turn and turn of the sky

Says to the sun and heavens good bye

Stars jeer at the smoky sleepiness

Night breeze of a desert forlorn

Condole at her swerving “retreat”

Poignant marshes reek and rot

Fetters of stillness never forgot

The “she” revived, the “she” alive

The bends and curves of S rile

Her  dream in dream does  survive.
